Video is one of the most powerful ways to tell a story, preserving your or your loved one’s voice, memories, and legacy. We record cinema-quality interviews and other footage and may incorporate archival materials such as family photos, home videos, news clippings, maps, and more, into a professional documentary-style film, all to tell the story of your journey.

We are professional documentary filmmakers and storytellers who believe that everyone’s story is valuable and deserves to be told. We will work with you to make sure your story or your family’s story is mindfully documented and honored.

PRE-PRODUCTION

We will set up an initial planning call to talk about your or your loved one’s journey and how best to tell their legacy story. From these initial conversation(s), our team will plan out the topics for your life story interview to ensure that we capture the most important memories for your family to preserve.

PRODUCTION

We will sit down with your loved one(s) for an in-depth interview where they will be invited to share some of their life story, highlighting the specific stories, turning points or highlights that we identify during our initial consultation. Depending on your package, we will also film additional interviews and/or video of your family in action (“b-roll”).

After filming, we will create a transcript of the interview and consult with you to determine which stories to highlight in the finished film. We will also work closely with you to identify family photos, print materials and/or home videos that we can incorporate into your film. We will share a cut of the film for your review and input before finalizing it.

When the film is complete, we will send you a digital version as well as a physical copy on a small drive with the full video interview and digitized materials for you and your family to keep. You will also receive the full text transcription of the interview.
